FRM3 Footwell Module Repair for BMW MINI

This is a Footwell Module (FRM3/FRM3R) Repair Service.

• You will have to ship your faulty FRM Module to the address we will provide after the purchase.

If your car exhibits ALL of the signs listed below, this repair service is for you.

Common signs of a faulty FRM3 Module:

• Front Windows do not function
• Lights do not function properly
  • No brake lights
  • No turn signal lights
  • Low beam lights are always on when the vehicle is running
  • etc…
• No communication with the FRM Module using a scantool

Repair Service Details

• We restore the software side of the FRM Module to the condition it was in prior to its failure.
• This means that it will retain the original Programming/ Coding.
  • In other words, if your car functioned properly before FRM Module got bricked, after we repair it you will not need to do any extra programming. It should be plug and play.
  • On the other hand, it is also possible for FRM Module  to fail on the hardware side. So, if you had issues with, say, one headlight here or one power window there, but not all the issues (listed above) at once, most likely you have a hardware problem. These problems we DO NOT repair. Consequently, we DO NOT repair flood/water damaged modules, modules that have burnt mcu, or other hardware damage.
• We repair all FRM3 or FRM3R with any part number coming from listed models of BMW or Mini:
  • E81, E82, E84, E87, E89, E90, E91, E92, E70, E71, E72 R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, R61.

FRM Module Location

• The Footwell Module (FRM3/FRM3R) module is located to the left of the pedals (LH kick panel).
• You will have to remove the plastic cover trims to access it.
